The House agreed to the following motion moved by Lee Tarlamis, That Standing Orders be suspended to the extent necessary to provide that it be an instruction to the Committee when considering the Crimes Amendment (Recruitment of Children for Criminal Activity) Bill 2026 that they have the power to consider amendments and a New Clause to amend the Crimes Act 1958 to establish a new process for requiring financial institutions to produce documents that are relevant to certain offences.
