The House debated and agreed to a motion moved by Ingrid Stitt, That it be an instruction to the Committee that that they have power to consider amendments and New Clauses to amend the Electricity Industry Act 2000 to enable licensees that sell electricity to more than 5000 customers, rather than the Essential Services Commission, to set the rate or rates at which those licensees purchase small renewable energy generation electricity from customers.
